How to Setup Your Domain...

There are 4 ways to get your domain setup on BusinessWebFactory. The options depend on where you bought your domain and how you want to manage it.

1) Purchase your domain from BusinessWebFactory

When you signup for BusinessWebFactory and register a new domain, the nameservers will automatically be set to ns.bwfserver1.co.uk and ns2.bwfserver1.co.uk.

This means that the email and website settings will be correct without you having to do anything.

2) Purchase your domain from another hosting company and you want to transfer it to BusinessWebFactory

If you want to transfer your domain to BusinessWebFactory, then you must first follow the instructions here: Domain Transfer

Once transferred, you need to set the nameservers. You can configure your domain nameservers here: Change Nameservers

3) Keep your domain with another hosting company and change the nameservers using their control panel

If you decide to keep your domain with another hosting company, you can still have your website and email hosted with BusinessWebFactory.

This is achieved by changing the nameserver settings to ns.bwfserver1.co.uk and ns2.bwfserver1.co.uk using the control panel provided by the other hosting company.

If you are not sure how to do this, then you must contact the other hosting company for support.

4) Keep your domain with another hosting company and change the 'www' subdomain using their control panel

This is achieved by changing the address record or 'A record' for the subdomain 'www'. Unless you have applied for an SSL certificate, your IP address will be: 89.234.7.140

Your record should now look like this:
www IN A 89.234.7.140

If you have applied for an SSL certificate, then you will be allocated a unique IP address. You will need to set the A record to this unique IP address.

If you are not sure how to do this, then you must contact the other hosting company for support.
